It takes all of my willpower not to blog/tweet something about Duchess Catherine on a daily basis. I adore her. But when she showed up to a charity polo match in L.A. this weekend in a chinoiserie Jenny Packham dress hand-painted by de Gournay, I couldn't resist!
I don't actually love this particular dress, but I LOVE de Gournay designs. A single 9-foot roll of de Gournay wallpaper costs more than $600--total extravagance, and impossibly beautiful.
This is one of my favorite bedrooms of all time. By Miles Redd.
Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne's L.A. dining room, by Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
"Portobello" at the Matthew Williamson boutique in London. I can't believe I never noticed that this print is the same cover as Domino's Book of Decorating! (Life-changing info via La Dolce Vida.) I knew I loved that book for a reason.
I've clearly never met a chinoiserie bird motif I didn't like. The navy is my most favorite.
You can check out more de Gournay eye candy in their online gallery.

Amazing. So gorgeous. Think I need to go check out the online gallery. And can we talk about how perfect Kate is? My oh my.
I have been loving Martyn Lawrence Bullard on Million Dollar Decorators. No wonder he used that wallpaper in the Osbourne's dining room. It is "fab"!
